Year built: 1890s through 1920s

Forestmere is a 660-acre camp and game park about four miles north of Paul Smiths and half a mile south of McColloms.  The property includes Clear Lake, Spring Pond, and the mile-long Chain Lake.  It was built by J. Arthur Fisher of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Charles V. Martin was caretaker there for several years, and Arthur Jones was caretaker and chauffeur.
