Rollo May came for treatment for tuberculosis at Trudeau Sanatorium in the early 1940s. May went on to become an influential psychologist, known for his work with existential psychotherapy. He also published many books on psychotherapy and existentialist philosophy, including Love and Will (1969). He died of heart failure at the age of 85.
