BRUSH FIRE

A brush fire at 5:05 yesterday afternoon summoned volunteers to Van Buren Street, Saranac Lake where a fire had started at the rear of the old Railway Express Office. The fire was out by the time the firemen arrived at the scene. Seventeen men answered the alarm. The unit was back in service at 5:20.
