2011 is turning out to be quite the year in Saranac Lake:

• The Sears lot is finally reopened!
• The Community Store is about to open in the Blue Gentian
• The Carousel is going up in the William Morris Park
• The Downhill Grill opened in the old Meyer's Drug Store
• There's a coffee shop going into the Egler Block
• There are biotech firms going into the Paul Smiths Electric Company and the old old Village office building
