Kate Ryan Britton was born August 3, 1893. She died June 3, 1991.

She is buried with her husband Charlie in Saranac Lake at St. Bernard's Cemetery. Her husband Charles Edward Britton was born July 31, 1904 in NY and died November 27, 1951 in Saranac Lake. They married January 5, 1937 in Manhattan. Charlie's WWII draft registration shows they were living at 219 Broadway in Saranac Lake. The grave marker has the wrong year for Kate's birth at 1892. Various censuses when she was young have her name as Kathryn, Kattie, Catherine and Katherine.

Kate worked as the longtime personal assistant to Helen Garretson Trudeau.
