Mitchell Ira Swinyer was buried in Union Cemetery, Vermontville, New York. Swinyer Road, west of Vermontville, is named for the family.

MITCHELL SWINYER

Mitchell Swinyer, 72, died at the home of his son in Vermontville, Dec. 11, after several months illness.

Mr. Swinyer was born in 1852 in the village of Peru, a son of the late Archibald and Eunice Swinyer.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Methodist church, and Rev. J. Ward officiated. Interment was made at Vermontville.
