—The people here were very much shocked to hear of the sudden death of C. F. Toof [sic] which took place at his home at Saranac Lake last Saturday. He was only ill a short time when pneumonia developed which caused his death. Mr. Toof was a native of this place residing here until his marriage to Miss Anna English when he went to Saranac Lake to live. He leaves a wife, one sister, Mrs. Charles White, one aunt, Miss K. Toof of this place, besides many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Olson and burial in Brookside Cemetery.
