Florence Adele Vanderbilt Twombly was an American heiress and a member of the prominent Vanderbilt family. In 1916, she was a guest at Camp Wild Air when a fire broke out in the camp.

She and her husband vacationed on the St. Regis Lakes. She outlived her husband by 42 years.
