Alanson B. Neal served as supervisor of the Town of Harrietstown in 1845, 1851-52, 1855-56, and 1860. He also served as Harrietstown's first postmaster, appointed on August 11, 1849.

He and his family died in Wisconsin. Note: the birth, death dates marriage and children are all based on a FindAGrave record for [B. Neal] and family, born in New York, died in Wisconsin.
