Liesl Kahn-Wolz was pictured as "a German refugee and TB patient" in "Crafting the Cure"  by Shirley Morgan in Adirondack Life, November-December 2001, page 51. She "learned sculpture at the Saranac Lake Study and Craft Guild in the 1930s." The photo is in the Adirondack Collection. Saranac Lake Free Library.
