Karl P. Duerr
Karl P. Duerr, 62, a former resident of Saranac Lake, died Sept. 18 in New Orleans after a brief illness.
Mr. Duerr lived in Saranac Lake in the early 1930s and worked as an accountant for the John A. Galloway Chevrolet Garage and the R. J. Reynolds brokerage firm. Mr. Duerr's mother, Mrs. Fannie P. Duerr, conducted a private sanatorium in Saranac Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Stiert Duerr of Alexandria, La., and his sister, Mrs. Jane Proctor of Spring Lake, N. J.
The funeral service and interment were in Alexandria, La. on Sept. 20.
