Gail Hoyt Metz was the daughter of Bernard Hoyt, a caretaker at the William Morris camp, Camp Intermission on Lake Colby. She remembers going there and was a friend of their grandson,William White.

Miss Gail Hoyt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hoyt, of Camp Intermission, has been awarded New York State four-year scholarship. Miss Hoyt is now attending Albany Business College

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hoyt of 50 Main St., Saranac Lake, announce the engagement of their daughter, Gail Susan to Robert Richard Metz, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Burns of Scotch Plains, N.J., and Mr. Richard Metz, of Lake Colby.

Both are employed by the American Management Association in Saranac Lake. An October wedding is planned.
