Friend E. Swinyer was a [War II veteran].  He was a son of Edmund H. and Ella Carrier Swinyer.

Friend E. Swinyer

SARANAC LAKE - Friend E. Swinyer, 69, of 56 Main St. died Friday at Saranac Lake General Hospital. He had been a scrap metal dealer and had retired.

Mr. Swinyer was born in Loon Lake, a son of Edmund H. and Ella Carrier Swinyer. He served in World War II.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Angeline Lawrence of Pennelville.

The funeral service was this afternoon at the Keough and Son Memorial Chapels with Pastor Edgar G. Wrigley of the 7th-Day Adventist Church conducting the service. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
