Roadmap
This is a placeholder page for wiki features and debugging to occur. Users can add ideas to the page at the bottom for consideration by HSL Staff and Volunteers.
Incoming features and debugging
- Create standard nomenclature of categories for pages
- Migrate large group pages to categories (i. e. streets, TB patients) -- I don't agree, at least for streets-- it's good to be able to see the whole street at once
- Standardize citation formatting
- Add a button/form to report an issue with a page (footer?)
- Form to submit information for a page - including images (with consent language for sharing images)
- Related: change language on image submission from "My own work" to something about "granting rights to the image"?
- Create standardized blurb for wiki migration, add to front page of LocalWiki and MediaWiki
- Update old wiki homepage and header photo -- Can't find a way to change the header photo, but I have added a large THIS WIKI HAS MOVED message right below it.
- Streamline front page-- fewer images? Or use image captions to take people to submenu pages?
- How to create auto-populating page for categories (including photos)?
- Initial caps for redirect pages
- Identify and transfer missing pages
- Create a redirect bot for LocalWiki links
- Update thumbnail image in website tab ("favicon")-- upload it to your server and then tell MediaWiki where it is by editing the
LocalSettings.phpfile, adding a line like$wgFavicon = "$wgScriptPath/path/to/your/favicon.ico" - Captcha or other account verification methods
- Rotate existing images (bad metadata?)
- Fix: Clicking on images opens 403 forbidden page-- I'm not seeing that anymore.
