An obituary for Lillie Ingham Walker Baker was printed in the New York Times, [8, 1931].  She was the widow of Dr. George Fales Baker, who was a former president of the Academy of Music who left her an estate valued at $4,000,000.  She died at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel, age seventy-four. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was well known in Philadelphia and in New York. She was involved with relief work for animals.
