Max J. Adler

Max. J. Adler, a resident of Saranac Lake for many years died at 5 p. m. Monday at Sunmount Hospital in Tupper Lake. He had only been ill for a short time.

Mr. Adler and his wife, the former Veronica Stringham, made their home at 40 Margaret Street. He was a veteran of World War I and served as commander of the Matthew Killeen Post, American Legion in 1950 and 1951.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Fortune Funeral Home with Rabbi Selig S. Auerbach, of the Lake Placid Synagogue, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in May.
