Angiolina Laraio

A Requiem Mass was heard Monday morning at St. Bernard's Church for Mrs. Angiolina Laraio who died Saturday morning at Saranac Lake General Hospital. Msgr V. Noel Zimmerman was the celebrant.  

Mrs. Laraio, who lived at 29 Bloomingdale Avenue, Saranac Lake had been a resident of the area for 54 years. Her husband, Rocco, died in 1936. She was born in Italy Nov. 1, 1884, daughter of Pasquale and Maria Marrone Urgo.

Members of Court St. Bernard, Catholic Daughters, of which she was a member served as honor Guard at the funeral. Casket bearers were James Clark, Donald McKillip, Richard DeSantis, Joseph Stephen, Dr. Edward Mulflur, Walter Finnegan. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Joseph DelVecchio, a son, Patsy, a sister, Mrs. Jery [sic] Cavallo, all of Saranac Lake, and two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
