Constance C. Elber was a [War II veteran].  She was a daughter of William and Sophie Mueller Hamilton.

Constance Elber

Mrs. Constance Elber, of Forest Hills, died this morning in a local hospital following a long illness.

She was born Oct. 21, 1921 in Nyack, a daughter of William and Sophie Mueller Hamilton. She was an industrial nurse and had served as a first lieutenant in the World War II Nursing Corps.

Survivors are her husband, Ethan; a daughter, Gail; a brother, Robert of Lake Worth, Fla.; and three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Blodgett of Poughkeepsie, Mrs. Violet Murma of Vestal, and Mrs. Margaret Stafford of Lake Worth.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home where a service will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday with the pastor of the Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Lawrence Selig, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
