Mrs Hazel V. Paye

Mrs. Hazel V. Paye, formerly of Saranac Lake and a resident of Rochester since 1955, died Thursday in Rochester at the age of 72.

Mrs. Paye was born March 7, 1897 in Dolgeville, a daughter of Arthur and Carrie Cunningham Strong.

She is survived by two sons, Robert of Peru and David of Rochester; two daughters, Mrs. Millard (Ida) Martin of Rochester and Mrs. Homer (Iva) Gauthier of Potsdam; a sister, Mrs. Charles (LaVerne) Blair of Syracuse; and several grandchildren.

The Rev. Lester Loder, pastor of the Bloomingdale Methodist Church, will conduct a funeral service 2 p. m. Monday at the Fortune Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. Friends may call there beginning Saturday evening. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery
