Earl Francis Catillaz was a [War II veteran].  He was a son of Joseph F. and Emma Fehlner[?] Catillaz.

Earl F. Catillaz

Earl F. Catillaz, a resident  of this area for 22 years, died this morning at his home, 138 Broadway, Saranac Lake.  He was 90 years of age.

Mr. Catillaz, owner of Earl's Village Tavern on Broadway, was born in Utica on Jan 25, 1920, a son of Joseph F. and Emma Fehlner[?] Catillaz. He was married in Utica on Nov. 22, 1945 to Gladys Wilson who survives. He also served in Europe with the Army Air Corps in World War II.

Survivors besides Mrs. Catillaz are a daughter, Sharon A. of Saranac Lake; a brother, Joseph, also of Saranac Lake; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home beginning Thursday evening. An Elks service will be held there at 8 p. m. Thursday and a Rosary service at 8 p. m. Friday. A Roman Catholic funeral service will be Held at 9:30 a. m. Saturday at the  Methodist Church. Burial will be in St Bernard's Cemetery in May.
