Lillian Dickert Koernig

UNFONVILLE, Conn. - Lillian Dickert Koernig, 102, a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake until 1983, died Tuesday, April 2, 1996 in West Hartford, Conn.

Ms. Koernig was a graduate of the Savage School in New York. City, and then she taught briefly before marrying William C. Koernig. She was employed for many years at the Saranac Lake General Hospital. Her father was Charles L. Dickert, whose name was given in memory to the wildlife museum at the Saranac Lake Free Library.

Survivors include one daughter, Jean Kellsey of Connecticut; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband; who died in 1939, and her sister, Lorraine Green. There will be a graveside service at Pine Ridge Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are with the Ahern Funeral Home, 11 Main St., Unionville, Conn., 06085.
