Corporal Daniel V. Sullivan was a [War II veteran]; he died during the war.  He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Sullivan of Ireland.  He was an assistant engineer at the [York State Hospital at Ray Brook].

'CORP. SULLIVAN DIES 'OF INJURIES AT CAMP

Daniel Sullivan, 36, a technical corporal in the signal corps, died Monday from injuries resulting from an accident while he was on maneuvers at Jasper, Tex.  Sullivan's liver was punctured but it was believed he was recovering until pneumonia set in and caused his death. He died at Camp Polk.

Corp. Sullivan was born at Moira, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Sullivan of North Bangor.

Prior to his enlistment in March, he was employed as assistant engineer at the state hospital, Ray Brook.

Surviving are his parents; his wife, Margaret, of Rutland, Vt.; three brothers, Fred and James of North Bangor and Harry of Saranac Lake village; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Bunker of Gabriels, and Miss Irene Sullivan of Ogdensburg. The body will be brought to his brother's home at Saranac Lake.
