Mary Tormey was a practical nurse who lived in Onchiota for sixty years.

Mrs. Mary E. Tormey Of Onchiota Dies

Mrs. Mary E. Tormey, widow of Charles Tormey, died at 10 o clock last evening following an illness of a year and a half. Mrs. Tormey was born October 17, 1876 in Merrilsville, the daughter of Isaac and Cecelia Littlejohn Williams. She lived in Onchiota for the past 60 years and was a practical nurse.

Survivors are a son, Hayden J. Tormey of Onchiota, five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Mrs. Tormey is reposing at the Fortune Funeral Home. There will be a service on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Bloomingdale, with the Rev. J. K. Yauger officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Merrilsville Cemetery [sic].
