Other information: A single-family cure cottage with a sleeping porch and a first floor nine by thirty-two foot sitting-out porch. The large, two-story house on 18 acres has 104 six-over-six and six-over-one light windows, and five fireplaces.
The property forms a part of the 300 acre lot sold by Pliny Miller to Orlando Blood in 1894; the neighborhood was called Blood Hill. Seaver A. Miller owned the property from 1910 to 1944; at that time the house was listed in the T.B. Society's records as a rented cure cottage. It was never converted to multi-patient use.

One of the handsomest of the new cottages at Saranac Lake, and also one of the most artistically finished and tastefully furnished, is that of Benson Bennett Sloan of New York, which occupies a commanding position on the brow of the hill overlooking the village and Lake Flower, with a mountain range extending to the left and south, a mile or so away. This cottage cost about $8,000.
