ABOUT TOWN
Mrs. Pravin Kamdar, in her authentic Indian attire graced the Indian buffet at the Hotel Saranac last week. Her husband, Prof Kamdar, supervised the NCCC-sponsored trip to India last year in which many local people participated.
Adding to the Indian atmosphere were magnificent artifacts furnished by a couple from Schenectady who had spent 20 years in India, and whose son is studying at Paul Smiths College. They took the time and trouble to transport an exquisite brass pitcher and table among other things to the buffet.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Evens were present as he had spent some time in India during World War II, as well as others who wished to renew the memories of their trip to India.
