Missing man, child, walk out of woods
PLATTSBURGH — Two persons reported missing Monday night on Ampersand Mountain walked out of the woods Tuesday. State police say Richard Gorgas, 41, of Chatham, NJ, and his, daughter, Margaret, were reported missing Monday at 7:30 p.m. They apparently became confused by a moved or broken trail sign, troopers said, and took a trail leading them down the backside of the mountain.
