Thomas E. Curtin was a World War I veteran. He worked for several years as an accountant at Saranac Inn.

THOMAS CURTIN IS DEAD HERE
Thomas E. Curtin died this morning at his home, 28 Kiwassa rd., following a brief illness.
His body will repose at the chapel of A. Fortune and Co., tomorrow evening. Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m., Saturday in St. Bernard's Church. Burial will be in the Arlington National Cemetery.
Mr. Curtin was born on August 7, 1891, in New York City, the son of Thomas J. and Nora Kelleber Curtin. He came to Saranac Lake in 1925 and worked for several years as an accountant at Saranac Inn.
He is a veteran of World War I, having served from 1917 to 1920. He was discharged as a 2nd lieutenant in the Chemical Warfare Service.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Thumber Curtin, a member of the teaching staff at the Saranac Lake High School, whom he married in New York City in 1920. There are also one son, Robert E., of Charlotte, N. C, two daughters, Kathleen, of Saranac Lake, and Mrs. Jean Jewet, of Wanthek, L. I., three sisters, Mary Curtin and Mrs. William James, of Newark, N. J., Elsie Curtin, of New York City, and a brother, William, of Teaneck, N. J.
Mr. Curtin was a member of the American Legion and the Saranac Lake Lodge of Elks.
