Ella Beseth

Mrs. Ella Beseth died at her home at 33 McClelland Street at noon Sunday.

Mrs. Beseth was the daughter of Hugh and Bridget Mannix Morgan and had been a resident of Saranac Lake for over 60 years.

Mrs. Beseth was a school teacher and a graduate of Youville Academy at Plattsburgh and of Plattsburgh State Normal School.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence Beseth; two daughters, Miss Muriel Beseth and Mrs. Phyllis DeFuria, both of Saranac Lake; two grandsons, Lewis DeFuria with the armed forces at Ft. Dix, N.J. and Barry De Furia of Saranac Lake; and one sister, Mrs. George (Katherine) LaMoy of Lake Placid.

Mrs. Beseth was born in Peru, New York. Mr. and Mrs. Beseth were married in St. Bernard's Church, Oct 18, 1915 by the late Father Waters.

The body is reposing in the Madona Chapel at the Keough and Son Funeral Home where friends may call between 2 and 4 p. m. and 6 and 10 p. m..

A rosary service will be held at 8:30 Tuesday night. A requiem High Mass will be offered for the repose of her soul 10 a. m. Sunday in St. Bernard’s Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
