Emeline M. Schiller was a resident of Saranac Lake for 20 years. She lived at 27 Lake Street.

Emeline Schiller Mrs. Emeline Jones Schiller, 92, a resident of Saranac Lake for the past 20 years, died Monday at a nursing home in Malone.

Mrs. Schiller was born on March 15, 1876, a daughter of Daniel and Adele Jones of Burke.

Mr. Jones was a well-known poet in the Northern area. Mrs. Schiller also had several songs copyrighted and a number of poems published.

Her first husband, Frank Looby, of 0gdensburg whom she married in 1902, was killed in a railroad accident. She later married Walter R. Schiller of Utica.

Mrs. Schiller is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Schiller Mason of 27 Lake Street, with whom she had made her home; two grandchildren, Diana Mason and Mrs. (Jean) Richard St. Laurent, of Montreal, Canada, two great-grandchildren, Richard and Carolyn St. Laurent.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home. There will be a Rosary service Wednesday evening at 8. ["St. Bernard's Christian Mothers will attend.

The funeral mass to be held at the Methodist Church at 10 a. m. on Thursday will be said by Father Looby who was a relative of her first husband. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
