Mrs. Marion Edson

LAKE PLACID — Mrs. Marion L. Edson, 87, died Saturday, April 3, at the Uihlein Mercy Center, Lake Placid.

She had owned and operated a boarding house at 10 1/2 Elm St., Saranac Lake, for many years.

Mrs. Edson was born Dec. 7, 1893 in Clintonville, the daughter of Emery and Marcella (Weston) Hinds.

She is survived by a nephew, Robert C. Harris of Deep Gap, N.C. and several cousins.

There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., tomorrow at the Uihlein Mercy Center chapel.

Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in May.

Arrangements are with the Fortune Funeral Home.
