Evelyn Taylor Scott Morgan and her husband John E. Morgan lived at 104 Main Street, the red house next to the Saranac Lake Free Library.
In 1948 she joined the staff of the District Office of the New York State Department of Health in Saranac Lake as a secretary; she retired in 1973.
Evelyn was an avid golfer, pictured in the Enterprise with three friends, all active women golfers over 90 years old, including Jeanette Valdez, Mary LaRose and Vi McKay. She wrote a history of the [Lake Golf Club].
