Cure evidence: TBSWC, DIS (1911). There is another Pearse Cottage at 1 Neil Street.

An early, but undated, map (probably circa 1911 or later) shows number 19 Front Street noted as "Pearse."

Edward L. Pearse and his wife, Alma, were named in the sale of Pontiac Club property to the Saranac Lake Boys' Club, Inc., in 1917.
