Other information: According to Tom Seymour, who lived in the house 1981-2004, the back of the threshold in the laundry room had an inscription about the civil war. The house was brought across the ice from Moody Pond. It is believed to be the oldest house in the village, originally belonging to the Moodys. Apparently the library has photos of the building being moved with horses.
