Clayton A. Brown was a [War II veteran].  He was a son of Harry and Jessie Vassar Brown.

Clayton A. Brown

Clayton A. Brown, died early this morning at his home on St. Regis Ave., in Bloomingdale.

Mr. Brown was born on January 25, 1913 in Bloomingdale the son of Harry and Jessie Vassar Brown.

He was a carpenter-by trade and had been a life-long resident of the area.   Mr. Brown was a veteran of World War II.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife the former Evelyn Leffler; two sons, Robert of Massena and Donald of Bloomingdale; one daughter June Williams of Glens Falls; his mother, Mrs. Jessie Brown and a brother, Everett, both of Bloomingdale; two grand children and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home on Thursday evening beginning at 7:00. Funeral services are incomplete at this time.
