Farrington Services To Be Held Thursday

Funeral services for M. Sgt Earl Farrington, 38, a former resident of Bloomingdale will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Peter O. Hill rector, officiating.

Sgt. Farrington died of a heart attack Sunday evening at Fitchburg, Mass, where he was stationed with the U.S. Army.

A career Army man, Sgt. Farrington was born at Bay Pond and attended schools in this area. He joined the service just after [Harbor].

Mrs. Farrington the former Jane Stanton of Plattsburgh, and six children survive. In addition, he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Halsey Farrington of Bloomingdale; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby LaFontaine, Webster; Mrs. Lucille Brade, Utica; Mrs. Carol Ransom, Plattsburgh, and Mrs. Millicent Jones, Utica and three brothers, Malcolm, Saranac Lake, Sprague. Watertown, and Warren of California.
