James A. Sullivan was a [War II veteran].  He was a son of William and Iva Chellis Sullivan.

SARANAC LAKE - The funeral service for James A. Sullivan of the River Road, Bloomingdale, will be held Friday at 2 p.m., at the Fortune Funeral Home.

Mr. Sullivan, 60, died Tuesday evening, September 16, at his home, He was born December 12,1919, in Tupper. Lake, the son of William and Iva Chellis Sullivan.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Evans Sullivan, whom he married in 1943, and several cousins.

Mr. Sullivan was a principal forestry technician with the Department of Environmental Conservation for the past 34 years. He was also a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy, and a member of CSEA.

Calling hours will he from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., today at the funeral home.

Following the funeral service, burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
