MISS E.B. DISTIN, LONG ILL, DIES

Miss Ella Distin, long time resident of Saranac Lake, died Saturday at the Gabriels Nursing Home.

Born at Barrie, Ontario in 1861 Miss Distin came to Saranac Lake in 1900 and, as an artist, was associated for many years with her brother, the late William L. Distin at the Distin Studios.

A funeral service, conducted by the Rev. Alvin B. Gurley, will be held at the Fortune Chapel, 20 Church st., at 2 p. m. tomorrow. Interment will be in the Spring. Surviving are Miss Distin's nieces, Mrs. Charles Roberson and Mrs. Herbert Leggett, both of Saranac Lake, Mrs. John Donald and Mrs. Albert McCaffrey, of Toronto, Ontario, and Miss Ella Distin, of Peterboro, Ont., also nephews William G. Distin, of Saranac Lake, and William Distin, of Peterboro, Ont.
