Information from Howard Riley's column, Adirondack Daily Enterprise, May 16, 2020

The house at 169 Park Avenue (now 416 Park) is said  to have been built by  Harry Truman's Secretary of State [Acheson] for his daughter Mary, a TB patient. The source is Dr. Leonard Bristol's daughter, Noreen Bristol Oslander, whose family later lived in the house. Mary Acheson Bundy was a patient during World War II. If the house was built for her, there may be an issue of street number changes. As the cure cottages listed above predate this house; they may refer to another location.
