Black Pond is a 60-acre pond near Keese Mills owned by Paul Smiths College. There is a boat launch for non-motorized boats, and two lean-tos (for day use only). There are views of St. Regis Mountain and Jenkins Mountain. The 10-mile long St. Regis Esker runs along its northwestern shore; a mile south of Black Pond, this esker is the site of Camp Topridge.

There is also a twenty-acre pond named Black Pond between Whey Pond and the northern end of Upper Saranac Lake.
