Green Island, Upper Saranac Lake

|, left; right foreground: Markham Point|; in the distance, [[1]]|, Boundary and Iroquois Peaks, right. ]] Green Island is a twenty-acre island in northern Upper Saranac Lake near Markham Point. There are two campsites, one on the west and one on the southwestern shores.
There is also a "Green Island" in Lower Saranac Lake.
