Clarinda Martin
Born: November 29, 1831 daughter of William Martin and Dolly Branch (residents of Westville and later Bangor)
Died: 31 July 1892, prob. in Bangor — buried in North Bangor Cemetery
Married: Charles Lee of Bangor about 1861, when she was 30 and returned to Bangor
Children: No known children
Clarinda Martin was one of the Saranac Lake's early teachers; she taught in the school-house on the hill. Sister of William F. Martin, who was the owner of Martin's hotel, and also of guide Stephen Martin, Henry and Susan Martin.
