Death After Birthday

Mrs. Thankful Reed of Peck's Corners died December 30th, at the age of 70, three days after her birthday anniversary and amid the general merry making of the holidays. Her father was William Kirby. She was born in Peru. Heart disease was the cause of death. The funeral took place Friday at the Methodist church, Rev. Dr. Milford H. Smith, pastor, officiating.
