Harry James Schramm was a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake. He had been a chef at Dickie's Restaurant for 21 years. He had also worked at Trudeau and Will Rogers sanatoria and had an oil stove and heater repair business. He took an active role in the renovation of the Saranac Lake Adult Center at 135 Broadway of which he was a charter member.
