Royal Dyer

Dyer, 68, died Wednesday evening at his home, 179 Pine St.

Mr. Dyer was born in Vermontville, a son of Mason and Charlotte Simpson Dyer. He had last been employed as a plumber.

Survivors are: his wife, Ethel Sprague Dyer whom he married in Gabriels in 1934; two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Patricia) Parslow of Webster and Mrs. Charles (Irene) Carlson of Scotia; a sister, Mrs. Elmore (Mary) Keith of Vermontville; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday. A Bible Vigil will be held at 8 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10 a.m., Saturday at St. Paul's Church in Bloomingdale with the Rev. Albert Plante, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
