Smith Road was the original name of what was later called Trudeau Road. It runs from Bloomingdale Avenue near the north entrance to Trudeau Sanatorium north and west to Peck's Corners on Harrietstown Road. It was named for the Rev. Samuel Smith, an original settler who owned the land this road passed through.
