Gloria McFalls was a [War II veteran].  She was a daughter of Charles and Mary Dougherty Boom.

Mrs. Gloria McFalls

Mrs. Gloria Mc Falls died Wednesday at her home, 21 Academy St., Saranac Lake at the age of 49.

She was born March 14, 1918, in Brooklyn, a daughter of Charles and Mary Dougherty Boom. She was a veteran of World War II with service as Printer 3C in the War Department's Censorship Section and came to Saranac Lake about six years ago.

Her mother, now of St. Petersburg, Fla., survives.

Friends may call, beginning Friday afternoon, at the Keough and Son, Inc. Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held there at 8 o'clock Sunday evening. A Requiem Mass will be offered at 9 a. m. Monday at St. Bernard's Church, preceded by a prayer service at 8:30 at the funeral home.
