The Indian Carry Post Office was located at Coreys near the Indian Carry.

The late Clarence Petty reported that, beginning in 1908, New York State required his family to move off forest preserve land where his family had been squatters. The Ellsworth Petty family moved to a house near Bartlett's, and his mother, Catherine, ran the post office at Coreys, though at the time it was called Indian Carry Post Office.
