H. (Herbert) Mitchel Dukett was a World War II veteran; he was wounded at the [of the Bulge].  He was born in 1916 in Keene, New York, and moved to Saranac Lake when he was two.  He was a member of the Saranac Lake High School Class of 1933.  

He was a resident of Saranac Lake until his death in 2006.
