Dr. John W. Decker, an otolaryngologist (Ear Nose Throat doctor), is a son of Janet Parker Decker and Dr. Alfred Decker. He grew up in Coreys and attended Saranac Lake High School. He returned to the area after medical school at Albany Medical College, and established a practice on Old Lake Colby Road near the Adirondack Medical Center, with his wife handling his office duties. In 2019, after more than thirty years in private practice, he relocated to an office in the Adirondack Medical Center.
