Clarence White was a [War II veteran].  He was a son of Marshall White and Minnie Mooso White.  He was a roofer.

SARANAC LAKE Clarence L. "Johnny" White, 51 died early Sunday morning at his home on the Harrietstown Road. He was a lifelong resident of Saranac Lake.

He was born May 19, 1924 in Saranac Lake the son of Marshall White and Minnie Mooso White. A veteran of World War II, Mr. White was a roofer in the area until his death.

He is survived by his wife, the former Leda St. John of Saranac Lake; one son, John of Saranac Lake; two sisters, Edith St. John and Mable LaBombard both of Saranac Lake.

Friends may call at the Keough and Son Memorial Chapels from 7-9 p.m. tonight (Monday) and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. A veterans service is planned for 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keough and Son Memorial Chapels with funeral services tentatively set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Methodist Church with interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
